The story of our emergency center
The Centre Médical Gare de Renens (CMGR) opened its doors in early 2025 with the mission of providing emergency care to the residents of Western Lausanne, alongside scheduled medical consultations.
Located in the heart of Renens, the center combines the expertise of a hospital with the accessibility of a neighborhood clinic.
After the success of the Centre Médical Gare de Vevey (CMGV) in the Riviera region, offering daily urgent care for adults and children without appointments, the CMGR opened a few years later, building on Vevey’s experience.
With its modern facilities and experienced team, CMGR is your trusted walk-in clinic in Renens. Together, CMGV and CMGR represent an innovative approach to patient care in Switzerland.

To ensure effective and prompt patient care, the CMGR is equipped with a modern laboratory and radiology unit. This allows for more accurate diagnoses without the patient having to go to another center for testing.
These facilities ensure accessible and specialized care, whether for urgent care, specialized treatments, or routine consultations.
Accessible via two elevators on the 4b and 4c sides, the CMGR ensures easy access for people with reduced mobility (PRM) and for ambulance services.
